Staffing Managers play a significant role in the success of PEAK Technical Services, Inc. In addition to sourcing, qualifying and submitting highly skilled candidates for contract and direct positions at leading companies, Staffing Managers build trusted long-term relationships with our consultants by providing personalized and responsive service.

The Staffing Manager position is ideal for team players who prefer a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are willing to invest the time and energy it takes to get the job done right.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with PEAK’s sales team to develop a thorough understanding of each requirement
  • Identify qualified candidates using a variety of traditional (internet search engines, networking, referrals, ads and cold calling) and creative sourcing strategies
  • Pre-screen, interview, test and assess candidates
  • Conduct reference checks and ensure required background investigation/drug testing is completed
  • Negotiate salary, schedule client interviews, extend offers and work with sales team to finalize the engagement
  • Provide thorough orientation and safety training prior to start
  • Maintain consistent communication with consultants while on assignment to ensure their satisfaction with the assignment and PEAK
  • Maintain pipeline of proven talent by proactively recruiting candidates based on market and client forecasts
  • Generate leads for sales team
  • Develop positive relationships with candidates, colleagues and recruiting sources.
  • Maintain timely, accurate and thorough consultant records in applicant tracking system

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high volume technical staffing environment
  • Proven track record of developing trusted relationships
  • Ability to thrive within a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to professionally present and promote PEAK as an employer of choice
  • Excellent judgment and discretion
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and try new approaches
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
